Matcha Pear Cider
We all love a warm apple cider on a chilly day. Why not try making this recipe using local pears and Authentic Japanese Ceremonial Grade Matcha? This sweet, delicious and oh so green recipe is by our friend Carla Riley.

Ingredients:
- 1 teaspoon Genuine Tea Matcha Powder
- 4 ripe green pears
- 2 1/2 cups of water
- 1 teaspoon fresh lemon juice
- 4 tablespoons real maple syrup
Preparation:
- Blend all the ingredients together until smooth (not including the Matcha and 1/2 cup of water)
- Over medium heat, let mixture simmer for 30 mins
- Strain in mug using fine mesh strainer
- In separate bowl, whisk Matcha and 1/2 cup water
- Pour Matcha over pear cider mixture
- Enjoy!
